Infographic designs for Communities for a Better Environment website. Communities for a Better Environment (CBE) is one of the preeminent environmental justice organizations in the nation. The mission of CBE is to build people’s power in California’s communities of color and low income communities to achieve environmental health and justice by preventing and reducing pollution and building green, healthy and sustainable communities and environments. These designs were used as illustrations on their website.

I created a series of promotional designs for SQUARED, a project by Charles Gadeken, an industrial artist working in the Bay Area for over 25 years. I also joined his crew to contribute to building, operating, and moving this piece from The Box Shop, a communal art space in San Francisco to various locations, including Burning Man Festival. It was inspiring to work with such a talented group of artists and makers and a great learning experience.

SQUARED is a 50-foot tall tree made out of square steel tubing, each holding 768 polyurethane cubes with inset full-color LEDs. Sets of 16 cubes are geometrically arranged in a fractal orientation, creating a 30-ft canopy of light. The 45-foot base with bench seating provides room for dozens to sit and observe this post-nature construct of steel and light. 12-24 Individually addressable LEDs per cube allow precise and specific control of each 3D light pixel, allowing for complex color patterns within each tree. 2SQUARED, a set of two trees, was commissioned for Coachella 2014. An interactive interface was added for Burning Man 2014 to allow participants to control the lighting effects on the tree.

Catalog project for Banana Republic at Gap Inc. I photographed the jewelry, processed those photos in Photoshop, designed the catalog in InDesign, and then did the production as well.

Logo design for a new plant probiotics company, Intrinsyx Bio. This company creates microbial inoculant products to enhance plant growth. They wanted a logo that was hybrid of organic and abstract elements to represent their product. They also wanted the logo to look similar to the logo of their parent company, Intrinsyx.

Illustrated sticker designs created for the "Bring Your Own Big Wheel" races that take place on Easter Sunday every year in San Francisco.

These posters were designed to be placed in the gyms as advertisements for classes that were offered.

Contest Winning Logo Design For The San Francisco Bicycle Coalitionʼs Annual Bike To Work Day.

This logo design was the Bike To Work Day Brand for 2 years. Itʼs been used on San Francisco Muni posters, t-shirts, bags and other promotional products.
